$800,000 Fire at Kyancutta - 27 February, 2023

CFS crews were alerted to a machinery fire at Kyancutta, near Wudinna in South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula at around 12:30 this afternoon. 

Farm fire units along with three CFS trucks arrived at the scene to find a tractor and boom spray fully alight but were able to prevent the spread of fire to nearby grass.

The tractor was a total loss with estimated damages of around $800,000.

There were no injuries caused by the fire.
