Truck fire at White Well Corner - 12 June 2024
Four CFS crews with multiple firefighters have been called to a truck fire at White Well Corner, approximately 50 kms to the north-west of Ceduna in the state’s west.
Crews arrived to find multiple vehicles being carried on the truck’s trailer alight and worked offensively to prevent the spread of fire and effectively saved the prime mover of the vehicle.
Damages are estimated at approximately $500,000 and crews will remain on scene for some time to mop up the area.
There have been no impacts to highway and no injuries have been reported.
SA Police are supporting crews on the scene and there is nil known cause at this stage.
