CFS ADVISES THAT A FIRE IS BURNING 8 KMS SOUTH WEST OF WIRRABARA, IN THE SOUTHERN FLINDERS RANGES. AT THIS TIME THERE IS NO RISK TO PROPERTY OR LIFE, HOWEVER THE FIRE IS STILL BURNING FREELY ON THE EDGE OF THE WIRRABARA FOREST AND SURROUNDING AREAS. CFS, DENR AND FORESTRY SA FIREFIGHTERS ARE ATTENDING TO THIS FIRE. THIS FIRE IS CREATING A LOT OF SMOKE, AND DRIVERS IN THE AREA ARE ASKED TO DRIVE TO THE CONDITIONS. WALKERS ON THE HEYSEN AND MAWSON TRAILS ARE ADVISED NOT TO ENTER THESE AREAS AT THIS TIME.
