BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for New Well, Boolgun and Waikerie

CFS is currently attending a scrub fire at Boolgun, in the Riverland near New Well Centre Road, Meissner Road and Thomas Road. Throughout the afternoon firefighters supported by heavy machinery have established control lines around this fire. Smoke is still visible from the fire and due to the wind blowing from the South there has been reports of smoke drifting into the Waikerie area. This fire poses no threat to the community and CFS crews will continue to patrol and monitor the fire throughout the night.
