Issued for EAST OF MURPUTJA, GUNBARRELL HIGHWAY, 70km East of Amata in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara, Far North West of South Australia.
A low intensity backing fire is expected to burn along the Gun Barrel Highway over the next 24 hours. The Highway will remain open, but motorists should proceed with caution.
If you are in this area stay alert, monitor local conditions, and decide what you will do if the situation changes.
Currently there is no threat to life or property and firefighters are monitoring the fire.
