Issued for KANPI area in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands, in the North West of South Australia.

This fire is impacting the Gun Barrel Highway causing smoke and reduced visibility from Putaputa to Umpukula. People in the Kanpi and Murputja area need to remain vigilant.

You are advised to close all doors and windows and stay indoors if the smoke is causing you concern. Be careful when driving as smoke may reduce visibility.
