The fire is impacting the Gun Barrel Highway causing smoke and reduced visibility from Kanpi community to Aparatjara Homeland. People in the Kanpi and Aparatjara Homelands area need to remain vigilant.
You are advised to close all doors and windows and stay indoors if the smoke is causing you concern. Be careful when driving as smoke may reduce visibility.
