CFS is currently monitoring a fire at Karte in the Mallee. Crews have successfully completed back burning operations today and will monitor this fire throughout the night. Smoke may be visible; this fire poses no threat to safety. The CFS requests residents to remain vigilant, please stay away from the area as fire appliances and plant are still operating in the area.
