BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for Laura, Stone Hut and Wirrabara

The CFS is currently attending at a Large Hay Shed Fire near Stock Route Road, Laura in the Mid North. CFS advises that this fire is producing a large amount of smoke which can be seen from Laura, Stone Hut and Wirrabara.

The Smoke from this Fire may be present for quite some time and you are advised to close all doors and windows and stay indoors if you suffer from any respiratory or cardiac conditions.

Be careful on the roads, as smoke may reduce visibility.
