BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for NAIRNE near Sydney Road, Timmins Road and Old Princess Highway at the old Chapmans factory

This fire is causing smoke and ash to drift in the direction of the Nairne township and surrounding areas. At this stage there is no immediate threat to properties in the local area.

Public are advised to avoid this area to allow CFS crews to continue firefighting operations.

You are also advised to close all doors and windows and stay indoors if the smoke or ash is causing you concern. Be careful when driving as smoke may reduce visibilty.
