BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for PLAYFORD HWY/WEST END HWY, RAVINE near Flinders Chase National Park, Ravine de Casoars Wilderness Area and Parndana in the western end of Kangaroo Island. This side of the island has already been impacted by the fires, however there are patches that remain unburnt as well as hot spots in places such as creek beds, gullies and in the roots and stumps of burnt trees. Please note that not all roads have been assessed for safety and there is potential for fallen trees and other debris on the roads. For some parts of this large area, there may be smoke present that may reduce visibility on the road and cause concern for those with respiratory conditions.

If you are in this area stay alert, monitor local conditions and decide what you will do if the situation changes.

At this time there is no threat to life or property and firefighters are attending this fire.
