BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for Bangham and Frances

CFS advises that a fire burning near Bangham and Frances in the Upper South East of South Australia is contained. Hot spots within the native forest areas continue to burn and produce smoke which will be visible near the Bordertown - Frances Road, My Mi Mi Road, Bangham Road, Will Road and Dabinett Road. Residents are advised to stay alert and continue to check and follow their Bushfire Survival Plan as conditions are continually changing. Please do not enter the area unless necessary and ahere to to the road closures and speed restrictions currently in place. Hazards may include fallen trees blocking roads, wandering stock and emergency vehicles operating in the area. Fire crews will continue to mop and patrol the area over night and for the next few days until the fire is declared safe.
