BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for The Gap

The CFS advises that the risk of the bushfire near Bangham and Frances in the Upper South East of South Australia has reduced and no longer poses a threat to your safety.

Smoke will continue to be visible from within the fire perimeter for several days as fire crews continue to patrol and mop up. Residents are advised to stay alert as conditions are continually changing and ring 000 if new fire outbreaks are spotted outside of control lines.

Please do not enter the fire ground which will continue to have hazards such as falling trees and limbs within forested areas and emergency services vehicles and crews actively working to mop up and extinguish hot spots.
