Harrogate Shed Fire
2/03/2013
Just before 1130am this morning Firefighters from the SA Country Fire Service were responded to a shed fire at Harrogate in the Adelaide Hills.
Early reports were that a nearby neighbour reported hearing an explosion just before the fire started.
More than 30 CFS Firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus found the fire in the shed going well and fought to contain the fire within 45mins.
Unfortunately the shed and a caravan stored in the shed were fully destroyed, however due to the efforts of firefighters the fire was stopped from spreading to a second nearby shed.
Early dollar damage estimate has been set at $50 000. The cause is undetermined and yet to be investigated.
SA Police and SA Ambulance were also in attendance.
