BLUE: Advice Message; YELLOW: Watch and Act Message; RED: Emergency Warning
Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. If you don't have a plan, take shelter in a solid building immediately and actively defend it. Shelter before the fire arrives as heat from the fire will kill you, well before the flames reach you.
If the building catches fire, you need to get out and go to an area that has already been burnt.
After the fire has passed, check around you and put out anything burning.
Stay tuned to your local ABC on a battery-powered radio for updates.
