Emu Flat Road near Clare
ISSUED FOR ARMAGH
Country Fire Service was alerted to a scrub fire on Emu Flat Road in Armagh near Clare at approximately 12.15pm today. Crews were able to stop the fire impacting homes located nearby.
CFS ground crews are in attendance and will remain on scene until early this evening. Crews are busy extinguishing trees and tree stumps.
CFS are being supported by firebombing aircraft and farm fire units.
To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
If smoke is impacting your property and you have a respiratory condition, consider closing your windows and doors to prevent irritation.
