Auburn hay truck fire
ISSUED FOR AUBURN
CFS advises that a hay truck fire at Auburn in the Mid North is expected to continue to burn this evening and produce smoke in the district.
The hay fire is not yet contained.
Windy conditions earlier today briefly spread the fire into nearby grass.
Good work by CFS crews on site quickly halted the grass fire from spreading further.
CFS crews will remain in attendance this evening.
Crews and contractors will use a loader to separate the hay and extinguish any active fire.
