Incident Update for the Baldina Fire
ISSUED FOR BALDINA
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) are currently attending a fire in Baldina, approximately 11 km North-East out of the Burra Township.
The fire has burnt approx. 1,400 hectares in steep, hilly terrain.
Approximately 90 CFS firefighters on 20 fire trucks are currently working on the fire ground and have been supported throughout the afternoon by firefighting aircraft, heavy machinery and Farm Fire Units.
A Bushfire advice message remains in place for this fire and crews will continue to work throughout the night and over the coming days to fully black out the fire ground.
