Grass fire at Blackford and Avenue Range in the Lower South East of South Australia
ISSUED FOR BLACKFORD
The Country Fire Service is currently attending a going grass fire at Blackford and Avenue in the Lower South East of South Australia.
There is currently an Emergency Warning Message active for Avenue Range and Blackford and a Watch and Act message for the township of Lucindale.
There is currently 30 fire truck being supported by numerous Farm Fire Units and 6 fire bombing aircraft and 4 observation aircraft.
The fire is currently being pushed by strong winds. Numerous structures are under threat and there has been numerous losses of livestock.
SAPOL currently have numerous roads closed in the area. members of the public are urge to avoid the area. More information will be made available as it comes to hand
