INCIDENT UPDATEFOR BUCHFELDE FIRE
Issued for BUCHFELDE,approximtely 3km west of Gawler in the Mid North.
CFS advises that a grass fire is burning near Buchfelde, close to the Gawler River, approximately 3km West of Gawler.

CFS crews on 12 trucks are in attendance with the support of 5 aircraft and MFS crews, and will remain at the scene until the fire is fully extinguished.
The fire has been slowed in the river bed, and crews are working to restrict further spread of the fire on the southern side of the river.
Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. Smoke may continue to be visible for several hours, as it is burning along the river bed.
To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
