Issued for the Cootra scrub fire in Pinkawillinie Conservation Park on the Eyre Peninsula.

The CFS is responding to a scrub fire in the Pinkawillinie Conservation Park on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

CFS firefighters, working alongside Department of Environment and Water crews, are on scene actively monitoring the fire.

The smoke may remain visible during peak weather conditions in the afternoon due to minimal fire activity in the area over the past 24 hours.

There is currently no risk to local communities, we encourage anyone in the area to stay informed if the situation changes.
