Incident Update - Cudlee Creek Fire
ISSUED FOR CUDLEE CREEK
Although there is still some activity in the north western section of the fire near Cudlee Creek, fire activity has moderated throughout today. Unless a significant change in situation occurs this update will remain current overnight.
There are still areas of unburnt vegetation throughout the fire ground and there is the potential for flare-ups.
The size of the fire is approximately 25,000ha with 88km of fire perimeter. Support agencies are working to assess damage and clear roads to allow people back into their properties when it is safe to do so.

Cudlee Creek Road between Cudlee Creek and Lobethal Rd
Fox Creek Rd from Cudlee Creek Road to Coldstore Road
Mills Road to Lobethal Road Lobethal
Staffords Road to Miller Road Lenswood
Tier 3 - Open to bona-fide local residents only:
All other roads within the fire area to bonafide local residents.
Residents will be asked to provide identification at road blocks, this includes drivers licence, photo identification or rates notice. We remind everyone to take care, as there may be hazards on these roads.
If you are not a local resident please avoid the broader affected area to allow emergency services and support agencies to do their work safely.
Please be advised that road access is being continually reviewed and roads may close at short notice. Refer to www.traffic.sa.gov.au for the latest information.
Power
Power has been restored to the township areas of Lobethal and Woodside with work commencing on other areas.
Residents returning home need to be aware that the fire has caused extensive damage and a number of homes are known to have been damaged or destroyed. Residents are advised to be alert for dangers on the fire ground especially falling trees, burnt or unstable ground and fallen power lines.
Emergency Relief Centres have been established in the following locations: Highbury at the Turramurra Recreation Centre - 1000 Lower North East Road, Highbury and Mount Barker High School 2 Wellington Road, Mount Barker.
Relief Centres are providing accommodation and services to assist people who have been displaced. The Centres can also offer access to information and advice regarding insurance claims and access to emergency financial assistance.
