Incident Update for Deepwater Fire
ISSUED FOR DEEPWATER
CFS and DEW fire crews are currently on scene at a scrub and grass fire which has been burning in the Deepwater Conservation Park, near Bunbury in the Upper South East, and is predicted to continue to spread with the direction of the wind.
Crews will be on scene overnight, working to contain the fire, including utilizing earth moving machinery.
The fire is burning in difficult terrain and conditions are continually changing.
Smoke will be visible in the area for some time and may limit visibility on nearby roads.
The community are advised to drive to the conditions and be aware that emergency services will be working within the area.
