Duncan Fire

Issued for DUNCAN near Parndana on Kangaroo Island.

The CFS is responding to a fire in rows of felled trees near Stokes Bay Road, Duncan, on Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

CFS volunteers on 7 trucks, supported by Farm Fire Units are on scene working to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent properties.

The fire is contained to the felled trees and there are no properties currently under threat.

Emergency services may be working on and around roads in the area, and motorists are advised to stay away. If you need to travel in the area, please take care and drive to the local conditions.
