Duncan Fire

Issued for DUNCAN near Parndana on Kangaroo Island.

The CFS is responding to a fire in rows of felled trees near Stokes Bay Road, Duncan, on Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

CFS volunteers on 7 trucks, supported by Farm Fire Units have prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent properties.

CFS Firefighters have secured the area. The fire is contained to the felled trees and there are no properties currently under threat.

Emergency services will be on scene into the evening before handing over to the landowner, who will continue to monitor the situation over the coming days.
