Incident Update for Fisher near Swan Reach

Issued for FISHER SCRUB FIRE near SWAN REACH IN THE MURRAYLANDS.

There is a scrub fire at FISHER near Swan Reach in Murraylands, South Australia.

Firefighters from the Country Fire Service and National Parks and Wildlife Services SA are currently working on the fireground, supported by five water bombing and two observational aircraft.

Approximately 30 firefighters are on site.

The fire is currently burning in inaccessible scrub 3km to the east of the Swan Reach Conservation Park, and is 2 hectares in size.

The fire is not posing a risk to the public.

This fire may be causing smoke in the area, and members of the community are urged to take care, particularly if driving through the general area.
