Gammon Ranges National Park Fire
ISSUED FOR GAMMON RANGES NATIONAL PARK
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) and Department of Environment and Water (DEW) are currently monitoring a fire in the Gammon Ranges National Park, north-east of Nepabunna, Iga Warta and east of Leigh Creek in the Northern Flinders Ranges.
A warning message has been issued for the Gammon Ranges National Park fire. Refer to the CFS website cfs.sa.gov.au for the most up to date information.
The fire has burnt approximately 12,000 hectares of National Park in largely inaccessible terrain and is burning in a south-westerly direction.
CFS crews remain in the area to provide support as required.Additional CFS trucks and resources have travelled up to Leigh Creek to provide support if required today.
