Scrub Fire at Honan's Native Forest Reserve

Issued for Glencoe and Wandilo near Mount Gambier in the Lower South East.

The Country Fire Service has responded to a scrub fire at Honan's Native Forest Reserve near Glencoe and Wandilo in the Lower South East.

30 CFS firefighters on six trucks supported by Forest Industry personnel and aircraft have worked to reduce the risk to the community and stopped impact to surrounding plantations and scrub.

This fire will continue to cause smoke in the area, and members of the community are urged to take care, particularly if driving.
