Shortly before 8 PM CFS and MFS crews Responded to reports of Fire at substation on Willison Road Gould Creek.
Crews on arrival found smoke and flames issuing and worked with SA power networks to assess situation, additional resources from CFS and MFS have since been responded to protect exposures.
At this stage no power outages have occurred or are expected.
Crews are now working with SA Power Networks to produce a strategy to bring incident under control.
There are currently 6 CFS appliances, 6 MFS appliances, on scene with SAPOL and SAAS.
