Update for the fire near Gumeracha and Cudlee Creek

ISSUED FOR GUMERACHA

The CFS have responded to a small fire approximately 2 kms West of Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills. The fire is now contained, thanks to the quick work of crews on site.

CFS and Forestry SA Crews will remain on the scene while they continue to work on making the fire ground safe.

You should not enter the area as there may be low visibility from smoke and fire trucks will be working there for some time.

This is a timely reminder that today is a day of "Extreme" Fire Danger in the Mt Lofty Ranges with a Total Fire Ban in place.
