Indulkana Dump Fire

The CFS has been actively monitoring a fire at the Indulkana Rubbish Dump North of Marla in Outback, South Australia.
Firefighters will be monitoring the scene over the next 24 to 48 hours, to ensure the fire doesn't spread outside of the rubbish dump.
The smoke from this fire may impact the township of Indulkana and the Stuart Highway as the wind direction changes over the following 24 hours.
If the smoke from this fire begins to impact the Indulkana Township residents should close their windows and doors and avoid being outside in the smoke.
For those traveling along the Stuart Highway, please drive with caution as the smoke may reduce the visibility along the road.
