Joanna scrub fire
Issued for Joanna near Struan in the South East, 15 kilometers south of Naracoorte.
Country Fire Service (CFS) volunteer firefighters will remain on scene overnight at a scrub fire near Joanna in the Lower South East, South Australia.
There is a current warning message issued for the Joanna fire. Please refer to the CFS website, cfs.sa.gov.au for the most up to date warning information.
CFS crews will remain on the fire ground overnight to monitor and extinguish the fire. Crews will be rotated and supported by members from National Parks, One-Forty-One and PF Olsens in the morning, in addition to observational aircraft and any supplementary requirements.
This fire will continue to cause a lot of smoke in the area, and members of the community are urged to take care and close all windows and doors.
Emergency services may be working on and around roads in the area. Motorists are advised to stay away and please do not enter the area unless necessary.
