Kapinnie Scrub Fire
There is a fire burning in pockets of scrub near Bratten Way and Kiana Road near Kapinnie, on the Lower Eyre Peninsula.
A warning message has been issued for this fire. Refer to the CFS website for the most up to date warning information.
Approximately 30 CFS volunteer firefighters and multiple Farm Fire Units are working on the fireground.
They are supported by 8 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.
While no homes or structures are under threat at this time, the fire is causing a lot of smoke in the area, and members of the community are urged to take care, particularly if driving.
