BASCOMBE WELLS CONSERVATION PARK FIRE
ISSUED FOR BASCOMBE WELLS CONSERVATION PARK, near Polda, approximately 20kms west of Lock township.
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) advises people in and around the Bascombe
Wells Conservation Park on the Eyre Peninsula that smoke may be visible.
The cause of the smoke is fire from a lightning strike in the Bascombe Wells
Conservation Park.
The fire is traveling in a northerly direction towards Birdseye Highway near
Polda.
CFS crews, Aircraft and DEW resources are on scene and undertaking suppression
activities.
SA Police are on scene undertaking traffic management on Birdseye Highway.
