Issued for KARATTA near the South Coast of Kangaroo Island.

Scrub Fire

The CFS is responding to a Scrub Fire on the South Coast of Kangaroo Island near the Kelly Hill Conservation Park in South Australia.

CFS volunteers on 5 trucks, supported by 2 National Parks crews and Farm Fire Units are on scene working to extinguish the fire preventing the fire from impacting scrubland.

CFS firefighters are working in an area in South Coast Road and Church Road area.

Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced.
