Incident update for ther Robertson Road fire at Taratap north of Kingston in the Lower South East
ISSUED FOR KEILIRA
A Bushfire advice message is current for the Robertson Road/Bald Hill Road Keilira fire. Fire crews from the CFS and National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) continue to strengthen control lines and mop up hot spots at the fire. Heavy machinery is being used to build mineral earth breaks on the southern boundary of the fire ahead of tomorrows predicted strong northerly winds.
CFS and NPWS have 45 fire fighters with 11 fire trucks, 2 bulk water carriers and 2 heavy plant actively working on the fire today.
Crews will continue to actively monitor the fire over the next few days.
