Incident Update for Robertson Road, Keilira Fire
ISSUED FOR KEILIRA
A Watch and Act message is current for the Robertson Rd, Keilira Fire.
This uncontrolled fire is burning in scrub and grass and has so far burnt around 1000 hectares.
Crews and aircraft are actively working on this fire, which is thought to have been started by dry lightning strikes in the area.
A south-westerly wind change is forecast for this afternoon with gusty winds.
Local road closures are in place. Smoke is impacting Rowney Road that runs from Riddoch highway to Kingston. This road may be closed at short notice.
