Multiple lightning strikes and fires on Kangaroo Island
ISSUED FOR KI COMPLEX
CFS has been responding to multiple fires on Kangaroo Island as a result of lighting strikes, assisted by National Parks fire crews. A fire spotting observation flight is planned for Saturday. Whilst these fires are not currently presenting a threat to property, residents should consider their bushfire survival plan and constantly monitor conditions. If your home is threatened by fire ring 000 immediately.
