Smoke in Kingston On Murray area

The CFS is currently attending to multiple piles of burning grape material.
The fire is contained to the piles, but is creating large amounts of smoke in the area.
This fire will continue to smoulder for some time, but does not pose a threat to the community.
Crews will continue to be on scene for some time to monitor the fire and ensure that the fire does not pose a threat to the community.
Residents can expect smoke to be present in the local area as these piles burn out.
Residents with respiratory issues should close doors and windows, and stay indoors while smoke remains in the area.
