There is a fire at Koongawa, Eyre Highway and Old Eyre Highway Intersection in Eastern Eyre Peninsula that has been brought under control.
CFS firefighters will remain on scene over the coming days to continue patrolling the area and mopping up to reduce potential outbreaks.
This fire may be causing smoke in the area, and members of the community are urged to take care, particularly if driving.
A smoke advice message has been issued for the area. Refer to the CFS website cfs.sa.gov.au for the most up to date warning information.
Approximately 80 CFS firefighters worked on the fireground supported by Farm Fire Units and heavy plant equipment.
The operations are also being supported by SA Police.
Roads are currently open around this incident, however, take care while driving in the area as emergency services may be working on and around roads, and motorists are advised to slow down.
