Kuitpo fire
Issued for KUITPO near Hope Forest in the Mount Lofty Ranges.
The CFS is responding to a grass and scrub fire near Kuitpo in the Mount Lofty Ranges, South Australia.
A warning message has been issued for the Kuitpo fire.
Approximately 55 CFS and Forestry SA firefighters are currently working on the fire ground. Crews are also being supported by four CFS aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.
SA Police is assisting in the affected area and implementing road closures.
The fire is currently burning in native scrub within a two hectare perimeter.
Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
Crews will monitor the fire until it is declared safe..
