Kuitpo Fire
Issued for Kuitpo in the Mount Lofty Ranges.
CFS crews have now contained a grass and scrub fire near Kuitpo in the Mount Lofty Ranges, South Australia.
Approximately 55 CFS and Forestry SA firefighters are now working to extinguish hot spots within the ten hectare perimeter.
Ground crews were earlier also supported by four CFS aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.
Smoke may continue to impact visibility and access to roads in the area. To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and Fire Cause Investigators will attend the scene on Monday morning.
Crews will monitor the fire until it is declared safe..
