Langhorne Creek fire

Issued for LANGHORNE CREEK on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The CFS are currently responding to a green waste fire in a business at Langhorne Creek, south east of Adelaide.

17 CFS trucks with approximately 70 firefighters, supported by industry brigades from the waste facility, are currently working to contain the fire, which will continue to burn over coming days.

Smoke is likely to continue drifting in the area and will be visible from surrounding communities.

A current smoke advice is in place and local residents are encouraged to monitor conditions.
