ISSUED FOR MENZIES
The Gum Creek Road fire at Menzies is not yet contained. However the fire's spread has been halted but there are still active areas of fire within the fire ground.
Crews will continue to monitor the fire perimeter and patrol the fire over the next week.
If residents observe active fire outside of the fire perimeter they need to contact 000 and report it immediately.
Roads in the area have been reopened but motorists should proceed with caution as trees may still fall blocking their path over the coming days.
