There is a Bushfire Advice Message in place for this fire
ISSUED FOR MENZIES
The Gum Creek fire at Menzies is not yet contained. The fire's spread has been halted however there are still active areas of fire within the fire ground.
Crews will continue to monitor the fire perimeter and patrol the fire over the next week.
If residents observe active fire outside the fire perimeter they need to contact Triple Zero 000 and report it immediately.
Roads in the area have been reopened but motorists should proceed with caution as trees over the coming days mas till fall blocking their path.
