A fire burning west of Iron Duke mine on the Lincoln Highway in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula does not pose a threat to life or property. CFS crews are in attendance actively constructing mineral earth breaks and mopping up.
The Middleback Road remains closed due to the use of heavy machinery.
Smoke will be visible from this fire for some time.
