The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) advises people in and around the Minnipa area on the Eyre Peninsula that smoke and fire may be visible.
The cause is a grass fire in the Gawler Ranges National Park, approximately 16 kilometres north east of the Minnipa township.
CFS and Department of Environment and Water (DEW) resources will be monitoring the fire today.
