The CFS supported by SA Police and Department for Environment and Water remain on scene of a scrub fire in the Black Hill Conservation Park off of Gorge Road, Montacute.
Crews will remain on scene for the next few days monitoring and extinguishing any hotspots.
Whilst the threat is reduced for this fire the community are reminded to take care in the area. Residents should remain vigilant. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Gorge Road remains closed to the public between the intersections of Kirkevue Road and Corkscrew Road. Corkscrew Road is closed between Gorge Road and Montacute Road. Emergency services may be working on and around roads in the area, and motorists are advised to take care and drive to the local conditions.
