Baxter Hill Road, Mount Benson

The CFS is responding to a bushfire in Mount Benson near Robe in the Lower South East of South Australia.

Approximately 35 CFS volunteer firefighters on 10 CFS trucks are currently working on the fireground, supported by Farm Fire Units (FFUs) and 5 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.

Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.

Community members are reminded to enact their Bushfire Survival Plan and stay informed.
