The CFS is continuing to work on a bushfire in Mount Benson near Robe in the Lower South East of South Australia.The fire is now contained and no further spread is expected.
Approximately 35 CFS volunteer firefighters on 10 CFS trucks are currently working on the fireground, supported by Farm Fire Units (FFUs). Firebombing aircraft have carried out 12 drops on the fire and have now ceased operations.
Smoke may be impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
